Batman is one of the most unconventional heroes of all time. What makes him so different from other superheroes is the fact that he, is like our normal selves. He’s vulnerable to a lot of things both emotionally and physically, being just another human. And like batman, we all face hurdles and obstacles on a day to day basis.

Some of these obstacles are harder to overcome than others. Some of them never truly stop dragging us down. Every person has to face a number of problems every day, and to cope with all of them can prove to be challenge. But amongst all this chaos we must understand that we hold the power to overcome any obstacle we face.

We must all know that nothing in this is world holds more over you than you yourself. We all feel low and we all face failures, but no matter how many times we fall down what counts is how many times we pick ourselves up and try again. Batman broke his back innumerable times before he could finally get out of the pit. He lost his footing again and again but he kept trying. Nothing stopped him and nothing should stop us.

In times of grave hardship, we try to demean the importance of our goals in order to justify us not being able to achieve them. That is not how we should approach our adversities. Hard-work and diligence will lead us to what we dream of getting. Batman is more than just a superhero, he’s and idea, the idea of not giving up, the idea of facing your fears and tribulations, nay, stare down at them and show them that they hold no power over you. Humans are capable of accomplishing unimaginable feats. Whenever we are down and out, it’s up-to us whether or not we wish to pick ourselves up. We always have a choice, and more often than not we know which choice we have to make. Ironically, one of the hardest things to do in these situations is to stick to the one we must.

When nothing goes our way and everything is a huge mess, we often feel that we can never reach our destinations because we can’t find a way. Well, there’s always a way, as Harvey Specter puts it, “What are your choices when someone puts a gun to your head? You take the gun, or pull out a bigger one, or you call their bluff, or you do one of a hundred and forty six other things.” There is always a path, you just need to find the motivation to get to the right one.

We all have what it takes, we all have what it needs. Once we figure that out, we can accomplish all deeds.
