Positive Impact of PUB-G Ban On Mental Health In India
One of the recent bunch of apps which were banned in India because of the security issues was the most popular game of all time — PUB-G. The people playing the game were left in shock hearing the ban of the game. The way we spend our time doing various activities have a deep impact on our minds. Although addiction of any thing is bad the game was too interfering with the players growth and development. It was surrounded by various violent activities and encouraged harmful acts to score a high score.
It revolves around destruction and tricks the mental health into more anxiety prone and aggressive behaviours.
One long term impact it can have is that a child can, in the future, solve all the conflicts by using harmful methods because one may not be aware and open to look beyond those techniques. However, the particular game is banned but similar apps have found ways to attack the market and yet again take a toll on mental health. Parents have a major responsibility of talking and spreading awareness among the family, especially when it comes to the child about the long term effects of these games.
A total ban to these games by the parents may trigger hatred in the child’s mind and can have a reverse effect, but distributing hours and checking the behaviour of the child can help. In brief, a child should be aware about the effects of the games like these can create and they should be able to look beyond their stubborn behaviour and parents too should act before things get out of hand and there is deterioration of mental health.
