It is natural to feel exhausted given the never-ending competition and
everyday hustle. The complexities of life result to a lot of ups and
downs and feeling low is justified. But one must always cheer
himself/herself up. Something as basic as bringing a gentle smile on
your face and being there in the present can help one to escape the
negative thoughts and the mindless chatter in one’s head.

One can pick up activity from a wide genre of activities to take a break and these activities need not be very complicated or cumbersome. Do whatever it takes to bring back a smile on your face. Practice positivity and gratitude in your daily life. Hence in the long run, if one wants to make a positive change in one’s mental health and ensure that frequent bouts of depression stay at bay, a positive lifestyle change needs to be made.
